We understand that getting a new diagnosis and dealing with a chronic disease can be overwhelming. Diabetes touches the lives of so many and unfortunately, more and more people are being diagnosed with this chronic disease every day.

To support this growing group of people living with diabetes, the Community Health Centre has a nurse and dietitian team who are available to meet with individuals and groups to talk about:

        – What diabetes is and how diabetes medications work

        – What people with diabetes can do to stay healthier, longer

You don’t have to see a Doctor at the Community Health Centre to talk to the diabetes team.
